LIFE HAPPENS! — Build Your Future is an educational life simulation created by Rich Off Education. It exists to help learners practice decision-making. It is not a financial product, a career placement service, a counseling service or an assessment instrument.

You are permitted to access and play the experience for personal learning and for non-commercial classroom instruction, subject to these terms. This permission does not transfer ownership of anything.

Teachers may use the experience with their classes, project it for whole-class play and print the summaries and checklists it generates for instructional purposes. Schools and districts remain responsible for approving educational technology according to their own policies, including any privacy review, parental notice and accessibility review their policy requires.

• Use the experience for learning and instruction.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or interfere with the site or its hosting.
• Do not modify the experience and present it as an official version.
• Do not use the experience to harass, target or make judgments about other people.
• Respect classmates' choices in the simulation. There is no single correct life path.

Students should enter a nickname only. Do not submit full legal names, student ID numbers, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, health or disability information, or any other sensitive personal information anywhere in the experience, including teacher-facing note fields.

Careers, wages, hiring, promotions, training timelines, rent and housing costs, transportation costs, prices, credit scores, loans and interest, taxes, insurance, benefits, health and wellness effects, and every financial outcome in this experience are simplified educational approximations invented for teaching. They are not real market data and they are not professional financial, legal, medical, tax, insurance or career advice.Decisions in real life should be made with qualified professionals and current local information.

Game outcomes are fictional. Nothing that happens in a simulated life predicts, forecasts or evaluates a real person's future income, creditworthiness, career prospects or wellbeing.

The name LIFE HAPPENS! — Build Your Future, its written content, characters, artwork, guide characters, game design, educational scenarios and other original materials are the property of Rich Off Education, except for the third-party and open-source components listed below, which remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licenses. Nothing here claims ownership of those components.

Without written permission from Rich Off Education, you may not copy, republish, rebrand, sell, license, or commercially redistribute the experience or its original content, and you may not incorporate it into a paid product or training offering. Ordinary classroom use and printing described in Section 3 is permitted.

Each remains subject to its own license. This list is maintained from the project's dependency file and should be re-verified before publication.

This is a pre-publication build. Features, content and balance may change, and the experience may be unavailable at times. Because progress is stored only in your own browser, an update, a browser change or clearing site data may end an in-progress game.

The experience is provided as-is for educational purposes, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular curriculum requirement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rich Off Education is not responsible for lost game progress or for decisions made in reliance on simulated figures. These terms do not attempt to limit any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

Each school, district or organization is responsible for determining whether this experience is appropriate for its learners and for approving it under its applicable educational-technology, privacy and accessibility policies before use.
